Appliance Repair in Federal Way — Twin Lakes & Dash Point

Our Federal Way work concentrates on the northwest of the city, where the neighborhoods climb from Dash Point State Park up through Twin Lakes to the Adelaide and Marine Hills slopes. It is a seventies-and-eighties housing stock for the most part: split-levels and ramblers with laundry off the garage, wall ovens set into brick, and a second refrigerator more often than not. Twin Lakes in particular was built in a burst, so the appliance replacements came in a burst too — many homes are on the same generation of machines and the same generation of faults.

Water and weather on the bluff

This side of Federal Way is on Lakehaven's groundwater, which carries more mineral than Tacoma's river supply across the county line. Dishwasher and ice-maker calls here look more like Gig Harbor than like Fircrest. The marine air off Dash Point works on exterior-wall dryer vents the same way it does in Ruston, and the wooded lots keep garages damp, which is hard on garage freezers and on any control board that lives near a door.

Reaching you

We come up the waterfront from the Tacoma side, so Dash Point and Twin Lakes are closer to our route than they look on a county map. Redondo and the Woodmont bluff, technically Des Moines, are on the same run.

How Federal Way Fits the Day

🏞️

Bluff route

Dash Point and Twin Lakes are reached along the water from Tacoma — closer than the map suggests.

🧱

Split-level file

Garage laundry, brick-set wall ovens, second freezers — the seventies build has predictable faults.

💦

Lakehaven water

Groundwater mineral puts dishwashers and ice makers on a different checklist than Tacoma's.

Northwest Federal Way Questions

Do you cover all of Federal Way?

Our regular route is the northwest — 98023: Twin Lakes, Dash Point, Adelaide, Marine Hills. Outside that, call and we will give you a straight answer on timing.

Is Redondo on your route?

Yes — Redondo and the Woodmont bluff sit on the same waterfront run even though they are technically Des Moines.

Our wall oven is set into brick — can you pull it?

That is a two-person job on many Twin Lakes homes and we plan it as one. Tell us the make and we will know what to bring.

Twin Lakes or Dash Point?

We come up the waterfront from Tacoma several days a week. Call and get on the next run.
