Our Tacoma work runs from the Narrows bridge approaches through Westgate and the North End to Old Town and Point Ruston. It is a part of the city with two distinct appliance populations: craftsman and Tudor homes from the 1900s to the 1930s with compact kitchens that were never designed for a thirty-six-inch refrigerator, and the new condos and townhomes at Point Ruston and along the waterfront with counter-depth built-ins and stacked laundry closets.
In Proctor and the Stadium District the challenge is often access. A range in a 1912 kitchen sits in an alcove built for a smaller stove; a refrigerator was slid into a pantry doorway and has not moved since. We plan those calls with a second set of hands when needed, and we carry the panel-ready and apartment-size parts that these kitchens actually use.
All of this is on Tacoma Water — very soft — so scale is not our enemy here; salt air is. Ruston and the Old Town slope face the Sound, and dryer vents, refrigerator coils and outdoor-adjacent laundry take corrosion that inland homes never see. On the newer Point Ruston builds the usual first-decade faults dominate: drain pumps, ice makers, door switches.
